This will be the twenty third year for our "Good Neighbour Project" on the June Urquhart farm. We have a three-year crop rotation of corn, soybeans and wheat on the field. This year, we are planting corn. The Pioneer Seed Corn Company, through sales representative Curtis Gartly, has donated enough seed corn to plant the whole field. It is through your cash donations, U.C.W. group and church donations, seed for the project, harvesting the field and memorial donations, support from the "Blessing of the Earth" Service and all other contributions that keep the project going from one year to the next. Because of this, we are able to help feed people in the world who are less fortunate than us. Our Committee was saddened at the passing of Dr. Ross Green, one of our founding members. The "Good Neighbour Barbecue" will be held Sunday, July 30th at Brown's United Church.
