The Mandate has arrived and is packed with amazing information and I recommend we all read it. You know where it is, at the south entrance, in a rack, on the tables there. I'm excited about this. It has a lot of information about our Indigenous People and what their life was like for the past 200 years. About the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the journey along this road, the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), the Rev. Cecile Fausak 'Reconciliation is a messy process, but oh so very life-giving--just like giving birth'. Build Peace Among Children and Youth. Geraldine Robertson is a residential school survivor and a force for change. See a lovely photo of her when she attended Prime Minister Stephen Harper's apology to former students in the House of Commons in Ottawa. She was at the London Conference AGM and drove herself from Sarnia; she is over 80 years old. AND SO MUCH MORE. Maybe we could meet over coffee and talk about some of these articles. Marj MacMillan
