1. Please join us for a time of refreshments and fellowship in the lower
level of the sanctuary following the service.
2. Welcome to any guests
joining us today, especially those from Reynolds Creed and Springfield.
3. This Sunday, August 20, we are asked to pray for the
mission and ministry of Fairmont United Church, and for the well-being,
compassion, strength, and joy of those in leadership as they work toward
finding a new minister. Thank you for your participation in this ministry.
4. Thanks to all who have worked so hard
to make the Holy Diner on Thursday evenings such a huge success, and to all
who have come out to enjoy the food and the fellowship. Please join us from
5-7 this Thursday night.
5. $112.00 has been added to our church coffers. Thank you
to all who have collected and turned in pop cans. It is very much
appreciated.

in previous weeks as Kathleen recovered from her surgery.

Many thanks to you all for your good wishes to us on our 60th Wedding
