1. Please join us for a time of refreshments and fellowship in the lower level of the sanctuary following the service.

Please extend a warm welcome to Rev. Keith Rameshwar, Volunteer Associate Minister at Dundas Centre United. Rev. Keith will be leading our worship services for the next 3 months during Rev. Larry's medical leave.

3. THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 1, we are asked to pray for the mission and ministry of Metropolitan United Church, and for the well-being, compassion, strength, and joy of Rev. Dr. Jeff Crittenden and Rev. Herb Summers. Thank you for your participation in this ministry.

4. TRIVIA NIGHT & SILENT AUCTION, SAT, OCT 21 AT BELMONT COMMUNITY CENTRE. Doors open at 6:30 and play begins at 7:00. Cost is $20.00 per person which includes light refreshments. Teams consist of 6 or 8 people, to register a team, please call Susan Grieve at 519-644-1965 by October 14th. Prizes awarded to the first and second place teams. Organized by St. Andrew's Westminster United Church, Glenworth.

5. The UCW FALL EVENT, at White Oaks United Church, October 21, 9:00 to 12:00 AM. Bring a bag of personal items for women & children & men too to be distributed among 6 agencies in London & Strathroy, it will be much appreciated & thank you for all you do.

There are many events; entertainment, fund raisers, women's retreats, personal uplifting, Mission & Outreach 'Journey to Reconciliation', & spiritual uplifting events to help you understand the changes occurring in this fantastic United Church of ours. Take some time, look at the bulletin board at the east (parking lot) entrance, and ask questions if you need to. Thank-you.

7. Friday night 'Games Night' is starting in Putnam again, 7:00 PM

Moderator Jordan Cantwell requests your help with the Hurricane Irma disaster. The United Church of Canada has membership in the global ACT ALLIANCE who are organized to assist people affected by Hurricane Irma. ACT members are organized in various regional & national forums (including Dominican Republic, Haiti, & Cuba) working quickly with evacuations and emergency shelter where necessary and plan for post-storm responses. The United Church of Canada is accepting donations for these efforts.
