1. Please join us for a time of refreshments and fellowship in the lower level of the sanctuary following the service.
2. FOOD BANK DONATIONS are welcome on any Sunday.
3. THE CHURCH BOARD will meet on Wednesday, November 8th at 1:30 p.m. in the Church basement.
4. THIS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5, we are asked to pray for the mission and ministry of Siloam United Church, and for the well-being, compassion, strength, and joy of Rev. Dr. Sheila Macgregor, Rev. Isaac Mundy, Rev. Janet Fradette, and all others involved in ministry leadership at Siloam. Thank you for your participation in this ministry.
5. PIE, BAKING AND CRAFT SALE SAT. NOV 18TH
9AM TO 1PM. Frozen fruit pies (apple, cherry, blueberry, raspberry), Frozen turkey meat pies available. Donations to the bake table are welcome. Crafts will be available from vendors. If you would like a table to sell your wares, the tables are $15.00 for 8' on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. 6. In support of the Dorchester Legion Donnybrook Branch 513, the 201 Dorchester Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron is pleased to offer luminaries in memory of loved ones. If you wish to purchase a Luminary in advance, please fill in a slip including the name of the person(s) you wish to honour. Place the slip of paper, along with your donation in the envelope/box at the rear of the sanctuary.

GIFTS with VISION book has arrived!
On the table at the south entrance and on the display in the lower level in the mission display. This book has many suggestions for that gift for the person who has everything. Chickens, goats, education, bicycle, school, health & much more for those people who have much less then we do. It gives your friend anticipation in the progress of whoever receives your gift. MODERATOR JORDAN CANTWELL REQUESTS YOUR HELP WITH THE HURRICANE IRMA DISASTER.
The United Church of Canada has membership in the global ACT ALLIANCE who are organized to assist people affected by Hurricane Irma.
ACT members are organized in various regional & national forums (including Dominican Republic, Haiti, & Cuba) working quickly with evacuations and emergency shelter where necessary and plan for post-storm responses.
