MESSAGE FROM LARRY
"Rev. Larry and Gwen would like to thank you all, members of our Dorchester U.C. family, for your thoughts, prayers, calls, cards, e-mails and all expressions of love and support over the past few months. As most of you know, Larry was diagnosed with Stage 4 NASH (non-alcoholic) liver disease. The first approach is medication, dietary restrictions and exercise, to see if the disease can be slowed or reversed. If this approach has not worked, then in early January he will be put on the liver transplant list. The ankle fusion surgery was postponed because his blood was too poor for any surgery in October. At present, some of the symptoms and abdominal pain have been alleviated, while others, such as nausea, have developed. We hold you all in our thoughts and prayers, and give thanks to God for this wonderful faith family every day."
