4. THIS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 3, we
are asked to pray for the mission and ministry of London
Conference, and for the well-being, compassion, strength, and joy
of the Conference staff and all others involved in the work of
Conference through committees, etc. Thank you for your
participation in this ministry.

ST. PETER'S ANGLICAN CHURCH IS HOSTING THE ANNUAL ECUMENICAL
CHRISTMAS SERVICE ON SUNDAY DECEMBER 3RD AT 2:00 P.M.
The Service will include Readings, Carols and music provided by the
combined Anglican, Presbyterian and United Church Choirs. All are
welcome!

THE WELLBURN PASTORAL CHARGE AND THAMES CENTRE COMMUNITY CHOIR
present a dramatic reading of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol"
at The Purple Hill Country Hall on Tuesday December 12th at 7:00
PM. Tickets are $20 and are available from Cathy Baskerville or by
calling 519-461-1679.
8. THE UNITED CHURCH WOMEN of Dorchester United
Church are pleased to present two memorial gifts today to our
Church in loving memory of Ruth Lewis and Betty Hunter, two
long-standing and well-loved members of our church and the UCW. We
all give thanks for their life and their service.
9. MANY THANKS to this congregation for opening
the church for the Middlesex Presbytery Meeting & dinner. Many
thanks to our in-house caterer, Heather Elmhirst, for preparing the
meal and all her helpers. Thanks to Glenn Baskerville for bringing
greetings from Dorchester Congregation to the Presbytery meeting
and thanks to any others who helped in any way to make this evening
happen.

A Visioning Working Group Outreach project
In our church family, we are all privileged to wear clean, dry,
warm socks. Socks, are the most requested, and yet least
donated item to those in need. Please put a pair or two of new,
warm socks, any size, any colour, any style in your Christmas
shopping basket. "Sox in the Box" collection boxes are beside
the Food Bank containers in the sanctuary or at the back
entrance of the church.
