Announcements March 11, 2018
1. Please join us for a time of refreshments and fellowship in the lower level of the sanctuary following the service.
2. To enrich our Worship, please note these changes to the beginning and end of the Order of Service. The beginning of the Service will begin as the Minister, Music Director and choir enter the sanctuary together just before the Prelude begins at 10:00 a.m. This provides a time for quiet reflection and preparation for worship together. Likewise, the Postlude is a time for contemplation and prayer and only after the postlude concludes, has the service ended.
3. Please welcome Rev. Dr. Art Hiley, recently retired from Belmont Harrietsville-Mossley Pastoral Charge. We are fortunate to benefit from his expertise to provide us with Pastoral Care over the next months. He tells us that he likes to be called Pastor Art, for short.
4. FOOD BANK DONATIONS ARE WELCOME ON ANY SUNDAY. Items of particular need at this time are family sized canned fruit and fruit cups for school snacks. Please note that the local food bank uses the "Best Before" date on cans and dried goods in order to provide the freshest food for clients. We thank you for your contributions and ask that you take a moment to check the Best Before date on your food donations in order to ensure a reasonable shelf life
5. TO ARRANGE A RIDE FOR SUNDAY, OR FOR ANY CHURCH EVENT, CALL CATHY AT 519-461-1679.
6. THIS SUNDAY, MARCH 11, we are asked to pray for the mission and ministry of Bryanston United Church, and for the well-being, compassion, strength, and joy of Paul Vollick, plus others involved in ministry leadership at this pastoral charge. Thank you for participating in this prayer ministry.
7. Conference United Church Women, Saturday, April 21, 2018. Hosted by Lambton Presbyterial, "WE ARE ONE". London Conference President - Sandra Stock; Theme Speaker - Martine Creasor; Bible Study Leader - Jill Rogers. Location - Dunlop United Church, 757 Rosedale Ave., Sarnia. Registration & Program on bulletin board or contact Marjorie MacMillan, 519-269-9632.

REMINDER
Keep collecting those Pop cans - They can be dropped off at the church or at Ernie Reid's in the car port. (4356 Hamilton Road - green bin)
Thank you for saving the plastic sleeves from your "junk mail". They are put to good use at the London Food Bank and may be placed in a small basket on the window ledge at the back of the sanctuary or you may give them to any church member.
