We have received permission from Presbytery and London Conference to fill this position for an extended period of time. We will actively keep the congregation updated throughout the selection and approval process. If you have questions, please feel free to speak with any member of the Board or M&P Committee. Please continue to keep Rev. Larry & Gwen in your prayers as well as those who are responsible for this recruitment work.
2. THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 26TH, we are asked to pray for the mission and ministry of Rowntree Memorial United Church. Also, we pray for the well-being, compassion, strength, and joy of Rev. Wendy Noble and all those involved in ministry leadership at this pastoral charge.

5. HOLY DINER BBQ THANK YOU:
The Visioning Working Group is very grateful for all of the community support we have received for our outreach project this summer. Thursday, August 16th was the last day for our BBQ. Thank you to all who worked at the BBQ and to everyone who joined us for their Thursday night supper. Our awesome teams cooked and served approximately 516 burgers, 168 hotdogs and 150 sausages. We hope everyone enjoyed a chance to catch up on summer happenings with friends and neighbours. We are pleased to announce that our church will be donating $2427.30 to the local food bank in Dorchester.
