Announcements December 23, 2018 1. Please join us for a time of refreshments and fellowship in the lower level of the sanctuary following the service.
2. WEDNESDAY MORNING COFFEE : Every Wednesday 10 am. Come and catch up on the news, be a taste tester of the baking and have many laughs. Everyone is welcome. 3. THIS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 23RD, we pray for the ministry personnel in our midst - whether they be with our own congregation or our colleagues. We pray for their well-being, compassion, strength and joy. Christmas Blessings to all. 4. PASTORAL CARE - we have been very fortunate to benefit from the support of Rev. Dr. Art Hiley from March until the present. He has worked diligently with our church community, visiting those who cannot travel to Sunday services, the sick, the grieving and those in need of moral (and technical) support to maintain momentum in our church's life. Pastor Art, we extend our heartfelt thanks for helping us through this transition. Gabrielle and the Visioning Working Group will be working together to determine best practices for ongoing pastoral care. 5. It's time for that extra donation to the MISSION & SERVICE FUND. It will continue to support global partners, social justice initiatives, community ministries, chaplaincies, theological schools, education centres, Indigenous church initiatives for healing and justice, faith formation programs, communities of faith in remote locations or in transition and innovation through the newly launched Embracing the Spirit. THANK YOU for your gifts. Continue to read the Minute for Mission stories which help you become more personal to the receivers of your gifts.
