			Please join us for a time of refreshments and fellowship in the
			lower level of the sanctuary following the service.
		
	
	 
	1. WEDNESDAY MORNING COFFEE: Every Wednesday, at 10 am.
	Come and catch up on the news, be a taste tester of the baking and have
	many laughs. Everyone is welcome.
	2. PLEASE CONSIDER SIGNING UP TO GREET on a Sunday morning
	on the clipboard at the rear of the church.
	You are helping to make our congregation feel welcome to our
	worship service. Thank you.
	3. DORCHESTER UNITED CHURCH WORKERS SOCIAL GROUP will be
	meeting on Wednesday, Aug 28 at 7 pm at the church for a planning meet for
	future events. Anyone wanting to join us are welcome.
	4. SUMMER OUTREACH PROJECT: The Holy Diner was a huge
	summer success! In total, over 400 hamburgers, almost 200 sausages and over
	200 hot dogs were served. Fifty pounds of onions were cooked up and dozens
	and dozens of delicious cookies were consumed.
	We were happy to have Finlay join us. He generously
	donated half of the profits made from his lemonade stand.
	We are so appreciative of the teams that organized each Thursday night
	Diner and very grateful to our church and community members for their
	support.
	Income: $3,699.06 Expenses: $1,489.99
	Donation to the Local Food Bank: $2,209.07
