ANNUAL MEETING - Sunday, February 9, 2020
Everyone is invited to join us for lunch following our annual meeting. Those whose names begin with A-O, please bring cookies/squares; P-Z- sandwiches. Soup will be provided. All are welcome.

FAMILY DAY SKATE : Join us for skating and hot chocolate on family day-February 17, 1:30-3:30 at the Flight Exec Centre. All are welcome for a shared skate to celebrate community and fellowship. So send out the invite and feel free to invite anyone!

ANNOUNCEMENT

REVEREND BRUCE AND LOIS SCOTT will be speaking next Sunday, February 2^nd , with a farewell to the congregation, as they move to Guelph in March to be closer to their family.

Please join us for a time of refreshments and fellowship in the lower level of the sanctuary following the service.
1. WEDNESDAY MORNING COFFEE: Every Wednesday, at 10 am. Come and catch up on the news, be a taste tester of the baking and have many laughs. Everyone is welcome.
2. PLEASE CONSIDER SIGNING UP TO GREET on a Sunday morning on the clipboard at the rear of the church. You are helping to make our congregation feel welcome to our worship service. Thank you.
3. PASTORAL CARE - Each one of us in the Dorchester UC Community of Faith plays an important role in "caring" for members of our church family. This fall, the Visioning Working Group identified this ministry as a priority and a team consisting of Carol Reid, Coleen Mason, Tabitha Carey and Gabrielle Heidinger is currently working on refining the process. A phone call, a cheery card, or a short visit all help to brighten someone's day, knowing someone cares about them. If you know of someone who would benefit from such contact, please connect with them and then let either Carol, Coleen or Tabitha know. For situations that require Ministerial Pastoral Care, this team will connect with Gabrielle. We appreciate your support.
4. PLEASE SPEAK WITH GABRIELLE OR JANET PATERSON if you wish to renew your Profession of Faith on Membership Sunday.
5. WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY BASED ON ANN VOSCAMP'S BOOK "EVERY GOOD GIFT": A 6-week video based study facilitated by Tabitha Carey. Wednesdays January 15-February 19^th 1:15-2:45 pm. Contact: Tabitha Carey 519-520-0284 or tabithatalking@gmail.com

7. 10 WEEK STUDY FOR WOMEN: LEARNING TO BE A SAFE FRIEND. Time will be spent watching and discussing material from the video-based series "A Friend in me". We will take time to encourage and support one another as we grow as women and as friends. Wednesday evenings, 7-8:30 starting January 22 to March 25, 2020.
