Christian Education (CE) Facilitator
The CE Facilitator will lead the Sunday morning Church School program at Dorchester United Church under the supervision of the Minister and Christian Education Team. We are looking for a person with the ability to interact with children and youth of diverse backgrounds using age-appropriate activities which will foster their developing Christian faith. Skills and Qualifications: · Ability to share knowledge of faith and scriptures and set a positive example · Ability to communicate effectively with children, youth, parents, the CE Team · Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills · An innovative thinker, enthusiastic and able to work with minimal supervision · Solid organizational and problem-solving capabilities · Ability to organize the calendar of events, lessons, and program admin records · Facilitate programming for crafts, music, games, skits · Available during Sunday church service times, currently 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Time Commitment : 4 hours per week - includes preparation time, programming & follow-up.
