We acknowledge that we worship and live onthe traditional
territory of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Attawandaron (Neutral), and
Wendat peoples. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties.
(We invite you to quiet reflection and preparation for worship)
CALL TO WORSHIP
With what shall I come before the Lord,
and bow myself before God on high?
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
with calves a year old?
Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams,
with ten thousands of rivers of oil?
Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?"
He has told you, O mortal, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?
PASSING OF THE PEACE The peace of the Lord be always with you. And also with you.
"I Danced in the Morning" V.U. 352
(Please Remain Standing for the Sanctus) SANCTUS

during the Sanctus.
CHILDREN'S TIME LIGHTING OF THE CHRIST CANDLE LORD'S PRAYER
PRAYER OF CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE OF PARDON:
We are not alone,
we live in God's world.
We believe in God:
who has created and is creating,
who has come in Jesus,
the Word made flesh,
to reconcile and make new,
who works in us and others
by the Spirit.
We trust in God.
We are called to be the Church:
to celebrate God's presence,
to live with respect in Creation,
to love and serve others,
to seek justice and resist evil,
to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen,
our judge and our hope.
In life, in death, in life beyond death,
God is with us.
We are not alone.
