We give thanks and celebrate God's new day.
With joy in our hearts we worship God.

O God, with seed and sun You have blessed us with a harvest to help feed
the world. You give us warmth and sunshine to grow all that we need. But we
have known pain and grief in other times. May we remember that You are a
God of abundance. We offer our faith as seed for the harvest of Your
life-giving food. . . . AMEN

PRAYER OF CONFESSION (In Unison)
God, you hear our prayers and our cries come unto You. Listen to the words
that our mouths cannot speak. We pray for Your guidance in this hour of our
brokenness. You mend the fractured creation with a power that we cannot
comprehend. Even so heal us of the wounds that we inflict upon ourselves.
Our sin is ever before us. We want justice and peace for our world. Teach
us how to let go of our selfish desires and seek Your help. In the name of
the great Redeemer, Jesus Christ. AMEN

The love of God cannot be measured in human terms. It came at the cross
when Jesus went to his death. God has forgiven us in the new life that a
risen Saviour came to bring.
