HYMN:
"Jesus, You Have Come to the Lakeshore" V.U. 563
PASTORAL PRAYER:
OFFERING INVITATION:
OFFERTORY RESPONSE:
Grant us, God, the grace of giving, with a spirit large and free, that
ourselves and all our living we may offer faithfully. V.U. 540
OFFERTORY PRAYER:
Thank you God, for the many gifts that you have given us, the complexity of
which we are often too preoccupied or confused to truly see. Today as we
have pondered the meaning of Trinity and relationships, help us to see that
in giving we are really sharing that which is already yours, that which we
are called to offer up freely to create and sustain in your Good Creation.
Amen.
HYMN:
"Three Things I Promise" M.V. 176
COMMISSIONING:
We go out into the world to face the challenges and conflicts, the worst
that the world can throw at us and at those of the fringes. But we know
that Christ, the Holy Spirit and God are with us each and every step of the
way, in every struggle, in every challenge, in every issue survived, and in
every triumph. Even when we cannot fully overcome challenges, the Trinity
is still with us, loving us, supporting us and encouraging us. Celebrate
this community of which you are a part with each breath that you take.
Praise be to the Three-in-One! Amen.
