WE GATHER TO PRAISE GOD

ACKNOWLEGEMENT OF THE LAND
We acknowledge that we worship and live on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Attawandaron (Neutral), and Wedat peoples. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties.

MUSIC PRELUDE (We invite you to quiet reflection and preparation for worship)

CALL TO WORSHIP:
One: My soul cries out
ALL: For evil to cease and good to conquer.
One: My soul cries out
ALL: To seek justice and rescue the oppresed
One: We are called to be the church
ALL: Not to lay down burnt offerings
But sacrifice oursleves
In defence of the orphan,
Pleading for the widow,
Feeding the poor,
Visiting the sick.
We gather to sing out in celebration,
To remind everyone You are with us always,
Loving us through, teaching us how to be better.

PASSING OF THE PEACE-
The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God, and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you…
And also with you
As you are able and comfortable, let us make peace with one another.

*HYMN "My Soul Cries Out" M.V. 120
(Please Remain Standing for the Sanctus)
*SANCTUS (Holy, Holy, Holy V.U. 315 verse 1)
Children are welcomed to the front of the Sanctuary for Children's Time during the Sanctus.

CHIDREN'S TIME, LIGHTING OF THE CHRIST CANDLE, LORD'S PRAYER
Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
Jesus is our friend who loves us always

ANTHEM

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

*CREED :

We are not alone,
we live in God's world.

We believe in God:
who has created and is creating,
who has come in Jesus,
the Word made flesh,
to reconcile and make new,
who works in us and others
by the Spirit.

We trust in God.

We are called to be the Church:
to celebrate God's presence,
to live with respect in Creation,
to love and serve others,
to seek justice and resist evil,
to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen,
our judge and our hope.

In life, in death, in life beyond death,
God is with us.
We are not alone.

Thanks be to God.
